What We Do

At Network for Humanity, we are not waiting until tomorrow to defeat the danger of today. We believe it’s time to act, to proffer and provide an urgent solution to HIV/AIDS horrible situation in Nigeria and Africa at large. Nigeria is the most populous black nation in the world with a large percentage of it’s over 170 million populace infected with HIV/AIDS.

Only 10% of 5 million Nigerians living with HIV/AIDS are walking around with this deadly disease without knowing due to lack of awareness and proper education. Nigeria is third only to South Africa and India in HIV/AIDS infected countries in the world. And Sub-Sahara Africa has just over 10% of the world population, but it is the home of 70% of all people living with HIV/AIDS.

Our focus is on Nigeria where HIV/AIDS is fanning with the speed of a hurricane. HIV/AIDS is a major development concern facing Nigeria. Any serious discussion about alleviating poverty in Nigeria must confront the challenge of AIDS and severe conditions it has created within families. N4H is committed to reduce the devastating and destabilizing impact of AIDS to human suffering especially to families that are affected.

Since N4H is about HIV/AIDS solution in Nigeria and Africa, we have started a comprehensive education, prevention, care and support programs and services in Ile-Ife and Ilesha in Southwest of Nigeria. We have continued to make great strides by putting smiles into the faces of people infected and affected by HIV/AIDS through our dynamic approach to reduce the spread of HIV/AIDS and to help young men and women affected by HIV/AIDS reach their potential and goals in life.

We provide proper education, awareness creation, care support, advocacy and sensitization, confidential HIV Testing Centers and Voluntary routine counseling.

Scale up capacity building, treatment of opportunistic infections and Anti-Retroviral Therapy (ART). This will overtake non-challant attitude of a large population of Nigerians to HIV/AIDS. We protect sanctity of human life and disabuse the minds of the society on Anti-stigma and discrimination against people living with HIV/AIDS, empower them to be self-reliant and enjoy a healthy, dignified and sustainable quality of life.
